Alternatively, you can contact us via social media or WhatsApp.

We will send you a message the day before your booking to make sure everything is still on track. The van will then arrive at your chosen location at least 15 minutes before your party start time to set everything up but where possible, we try to ensure we arrive around 30 minutes before the start time. Please ensure all drives/parking spaces are clear at least 40 minutes before.
How many people can Game van accommodate?
We have 10 screens and 10 consoles so Game van is perfect for ten children at one time. So that all 10 players have the best possible experience, we ask that only 10 people are on board at the same time. You are very welcome to invite more than 10 people, however this will mean that people will need to take turns playing.
What do I need to do?
We require from you is adequate parking on the day, access to two power points and your internet router. We will need to physically plug into the back of your internet router. we are unable to use your wi-fi signal. we require an internet download speed of at least 40mbps. if your internet download speed is slower than 40mbps, please let us know so we can talk to you about alternative arrangements.
How much parking do you need?
Game van is 7.5 metres in length and approximately 2.5 metres wide so we need a space big enough for 2 car spaces for the van to park comfortably.
What do you mean when you say that the van needs 2 power points?
We mean that we just need two simple plug sockets to plug in to so that we have power to run the equipment on board. We will provide everything, including extension leads that can reach up to 20 metres in length.
What do you mean when you say that Game Van needs to connect to an internet router?
Game Van is equipped with its own 5G mobile broadband; however, as 5G coverage in the Merseyside area is still developing, the signal can sometimes be inconsistent. To ensure optimal performance during your gaming party, we will connect directly to your home internet router via an Ethernet cable. We rare unable to connect to your wi-fi signal.
Please note:
-
You will not need to provide your Wi-Fi password, as we connect directly to the router.
-
We can connect to a router located up to 20 metres from the van.
-
A minimum internet speed of 40 Mbps is required to support our gaming systems.
We recommend carrying out an internet speed test before booking to ensure your connection meets this requirement. If you need assistance performing a speed test, we’re happy to help—just let us know.
If your connection is below 40 Mbps, we will attempt to use our own 5G router only if a strong 5G signal is available at your location. However, if we arrive and neither option provides a reliable connection, we may be forced to cancel the session.
Please be aware: If you have not informed us of a slow or unreliable internet connection prior to our arrival, and the visit cannot proceed due to connectivity issues, no refunds will be issued.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth gaming experience.
What if I want to book the van at a location that doesn’t have a power supply?
We can supply a generator at an extra cost.
Why is there an additional cost for this?
We need to charge extra for the power generator as it runs on fuel and can be quite costly to run.
Who’s responsibility is the parking?
Parking arrangements is the sole responsibility of the person that made the booking. We may need to cancel the booking if safe parking is not available when we arrive.
What if parking needs to be paid for or a ticket is given?
We would not be able to proceed with a party if there is not parking made available to us as we can only carry out parties on a stationary basis. If parking needs to be paid for, then this needs to be carried out by the person responsible for making the booking with us. If adequate parking is not available and a ticket is written out to us, then the payment of the ticket would again be under the person who made the booking’s responsibility.
Can we choose what games we want to play?
Yes, on board Game van we have a large selection of games available. All of our consoles are digital with additional storage. This means that each console has around 100 games preloaded or an amazing 1000 across all 10 consoles. There are also hundreds more games available via cloud gaming which is internet speed dependant.
Can you guarantee a certain game will be available on the day?
No, some games require regular updates and we are not in control of when games will need to update. We check for updates every night but there is a chance that an update will be required when in a session. Where this happens, we are unable to provide any compensation.
Are your staff able to watch the children if the adults are not on-board?
Yes, our staff are fully CRB checked and trained.
What age restrictions apply to children playing the games?
Under the Video Recordings Act 1984, it is illegal to supply PEGI 12, 16, or 18-rated games to individuals below the respective age. However, it is not illegal for a child to play a game with a higher age rating if their parent or guardian has given permission.
At the time of booking, we will ask whether you would like to restrict the games available during the session. If you choose to impose restrictions, we will inform all children of which games they are permitted to play and manually monitor gameplay to ensure compliance. Please note, we do not adjust console settings to enforce restrictions, as there is insufficient time to configure each system before the session begins.
If no preference is indicated during booking, we will assume that children are only permitted to play games that match their age group according to PEGI ratings. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to consult with the parents or guardians of each attendee to determine if any restrictions should be applied. If even one child is not permitted to play certain titles, we recommend applying restrictions for the entire group to avoid exposing that child to unsuitable content. Please be aware that we cannot make content decisions on your behalf. If you are unsure about any aspect of age ratings or game content, feel free to contact us—we’re happy to help clarify.
Is Game Van only for children?
Not at all. We also do parties for big kids, corporate events, weddings, stags and hen’s. We also work with several charities.
What consoles do your vans have?
We have 5 PS5 & 5 Xbox Series S with additional internal storage
How many can fit on the van at one time?
Up to 10 adults or children can fit inside Game van. We do not charge extra if you have more than 10 people and want them to take turns during your gaming party but please ensure there is a plan in place and that all guests know that they wont all be able to play together at the same time. We can only allow 10 players on board at any one time. This will ensure that all 10 people are comfortable and all have enough room to play.
Can very young Children use Game van?
No. For safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not permitted to enter or use Game Van at any time. Game Van is not suitable for very young children due to several safety concerns. Entry is accessed via steps that may be uneven depending on the surface the van is parked on. Additionally, the van can shift slightly when people move inside, which may increase the risk of trips or falls for younger children. Each gaming console also contains ventilation fans with openings that could pose a risk to small fingers. As the event booker, you are responsible for ensuring that no child under the age of 6 enters Game Van at any time. If a child under this age is found onboard, they will be asked to exit immediately. Repeated violations will result in the immediate termination of the session. Should this happen, no refunds will be offered. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all participants.
Do you provide food?
No, we do not provide food for your Game van visit. Food or drink is not allowed inside at any time. Any one eating or drinking on board will be asked to leave whist they eat/drink.
Can the party start later if we are waiting for guests?
Your session will begin at the scheduled time and run for the full duration you have booked. Unfortunately, we are unable to delay the start of the session to accommodate late arrivals, as this would delay bookings scheduled immediately after yours. We recommend starting promptly at the booked time, with any latecomers joining in as they arrive.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
